MOWGLI'S PAGE

Mowgli now lives with his parents and new friends/siblings in the Caribbean.
He helps orphaned animals such as Monkey's, goats and even mules. What a great statement for the "so called" mean chows.

Mowgli kissing the baby goat. He is named Mowgli because he cares for the jungle animals as Mowgli on the Jungle Book did.
Mowgli all shaved and playing big brother roll to an orphaned Island Pup.

Mowgli is shaved down and stays that way to survive the tropical heat.

My favorite sport with Mom & Dad while living on the East Coast.
Picture perfect at 6 weeks

Dear LaRinda,

It was so good to hear from you.  I have an amazing photo of Mowgs sea kayaking.  I will send it to you. What a little doll he is. Everyone he touches falls in love with him........We have friends over here that wants a chow soon, we are recommending you.  They said they want one from your line.

Well, I had better run! I will give him hugs and kisses for  you.  LaRinda he is the highlight of our lives

Best Wishes Maggie

Dear LaRinda -

First...  Mowgli acquired 3 more sisters - dogs that we rescued.

Then, he acquired a baby goat which grew up to bigger than he.  Named Tiffany for the beautiful white "bracelet" she has around her foot (she is beautifully multi colored, but has white around her ankle).   She has successfully taught Mowgli to be a goat and they butt until one or the other gets tired of that game.  Then, a month ago, we acquired a new baby goat - Frick.  From a friend who had rescued him...  His mother was killed against the road.  The day after that, we acquired Frack.  His mother left him as a present in our drive...  She was sick and dry, so she could not nurse him...  I will enclose some photos...  And send you the most recent email...

God Bless...

Maggie

I could not resist sharing with you the newbie…

We rescued her this morning, after she was found yesterday. Her mother is unaccounted for.  She is terribly thin and in need of much TLC.  As you can see, she is being transported by a friend in a Moke…  But how cute is she???

As for us, our cistern is completely dry, making showering and dishes a bit difficult.  And rain doesn’t appear to be in store.  The monkey is now cruising about the house, thankfully not climbing yet.  He and Mowgli have become grand friends, sharing food even. The infant goats are with Tiffany in the new pasture (whew, that is a relief, no more screaming goats at 5am).  I am crazed trying to finish up my book. So near, but with every new animal, so far…  And Jeff is buried in designing a resort on Anguilla…  The transmission is quickly giving way in our Red Tin.  We had dinner with friends last night by candlelight.  Leftovers because the stores weren’t open yesterday.  And the electricity was out for most of the day, including the late evening.  So we ate what we could find by candlelight from the fridge…  Same old stuff…   Except for this baby…  She is a doll!!!
