Hi LaRinda

It's us from Abbotsford, BC Canada.  I hope all is well with you guys.  We are doing great.  Christmas is always soooo busy especially with a brand new baby.  The website looks absolutely fabulous.  I think you should put a page in for comments from the owners of your past pups.  We would say what a talented and friendly chows you produce.  Kovu is a chow that feels the world is a wonderful and safe place to be and he loves kids.  He can't wait for them to get home from school so he can play and follow them around the house.  It doesn't matter which kids whether they are ours or the neighbors.  When people come to visit they always tell me that Kovu makes them feel like royalty.  My sister in law has a champion agility dog and she is now trying to convince us that Kovu would be perfect for her to train.  (We aren't too keen on upsetting the balance in his life being that we feel he is perfect.)  The same sister in law just found out she is having twins so I think agility won't be a topic for a while anyhow.  Here is a picture of him.  He has grown so much.  I just quickly took this one tonight so you could see him.  I will send you a better one another day.

Hi LaRinda

I've been thinking about you this week.  I have been meaning to take pictures of Kovu and sending them to you.  He was a whopping 35 lbs on his 4 month birthday.  He is amazing.  His hair is getting longer and I have to brush him every day or his hair pills up like a teddy bear.  We gave him some Advantage last week because he was very itchy but he's better now.  Poor guy.  We put a kiddy pool  in the backyard but he doesn't thing its a great idea to go into it.  He is happy for it be his drinking bowl. I'm glad your surgery went well.  Recovery is always a tough time.  I will take pictures of him tomorrow and send them to you.  Do you have any pictures of Clyde?  I would love to see what he looks like.  How does he weigh?  Fancy sure is cute.  I will email you tomorrow.  Laurie

Hello LaRinda - June 2006

Kovu is doing wonderful as always and continues to be the most amazingly well behaved dog of any breed any of our friends and family have met.  He was never trained to be that way.  LOL  We have moved to a bigger home with a bigger yard.  Kovu loves it and I am thinking of adding a buddy for him next year.  I think I've been bitten by the puppy bug again.  LOL  I need to start saving up for a new bundle of joy.  How much would an adorable little sweetheart cost??  I would like to get a female this time.  Not to breed or show but to love and spoil.  I think a female would make a good balance to all of the male pets in the house.  (cat & Kovu)  I am thinking black this time.

Oh I have to tell you that the vet just about fell over the other day when  Kovu held his front paws up for her to trim his nails.  LOL  Then he gave her a kiss on the nose.  She gave Kovu his full exam and was still wagging his tail.  She told me Kovu gives a new definition of the Chow Chow personality for her.  LOL  He's so perfect and we are so darn proud of him.

Kovu does however HATE the camera.  He will turn his head to get up and leave.  I can't tell you how many rear end pictures I get of this dog.  LOL  I wish I had some better pictures of him.  These ones just don't look near as adorable as he really is.

Laurie
