About Immunizations
Majesty Chows have recently changed our immunization procedure. After new studies by researchers and veterinarian schools - findings are that dogs and cats do not need the same series or boosters as often. In fact, too many can be harmful. We no longer give the puppy shot at 5 weeks, puppies still have immunity from their mother. Also, we no longer give yearly boosters but have taken the advice or every 2-3 years.
This is our puppy schedule now. We use Fort Dodge Puppy Shot Booster (Duramune Max 5)
71/2 to 8 weeks
101/2 to 11weeks
131/2 to 14 weeks
16 weeks the rabies vaccination.
